Day 1

I am not a writer, but there comes a time when a girl just needs to blog!

Where to start, I am 28, I will be 29 soon! EEEK! LOL I have been married for 5 years. I met my husband while in High School, and we have been together ever since! I have been with him since 2009, 11 years now! We have a 4 year old son, who is my world! Even though he is strong willed, very independent, mouthy, wild, crazy, smart, and a whole lot of rowdy! We also have 2 cats, and 2 dogs! My life can get crazy!

I am a full time student, hoping to get accepted into the nursing program! I love children, and I thought that I wanted to have a daycare, did that, didnt like it. So, I think nursing is it! I want to eventually work my way to Riley Hospital for Children or a facility similar, and work in the Peds unit. I have people tell me that I wont be able to handle it, but I know that I can do whatever I set my mind to! Going to school and taking care of a 4 year old is challenging. Lets face it, it sucks! I know this is what I need to do in order to be successful, so, here I am!

I got married in July, and loved it! My wedding was fabulous! I would only change a few things! LOL Shortly after I got married, we bought our first home! How exciting! It was something that we had wanted for a long time. The weekend of Halloween in 2004 is when we moved. In December of 2004 I found out I was pregnant! I was in total shock! Birth Control did not stop me from getting pregnant! I guess it was meant for this little baby to be with me! I always said that I wanted to be married, and have my own home before I got pregnant, and that is what happened! It was just faster than what I had imagined!

The past 4 years have been a wild roller coaster ride. Being a parent is tough! There are so many challenges that we face every day. Having a boy is fun, yet I think its going to make my hair gray before I turn 30! My son loves to try new things and see how far he can push us. Somedays I dont mind, other days, I want to lock myself in my room and hide!

Hopefully through this blog, I will be able to vent about things going on, or if anything, let others know that they are not alone! Im sure every parent has their days when they just ask why me! Hopefully, I can offer advice and get some in return!
